We have 5 awesome days of community events happening during Hyper Drive week. If you’re local or coming from out of town, we have an event for just about everyone coming in to enjoy SNK titles with the community in SoCal.

Jan 29: Weds Night Fights (7PM – 2AM)

WNF is the largest weekly fighting game event in the world featuring popular titles, fierce competition, and hosted by grassroots community organizers.  Our flagship weekly event in SoCal will feature many SNK titles on Hyper Drive’s lineup to practice for the event that weekend. Our venue partner, Esports Arena has a lavish setting for gaming with awesome stage, lighting, & sound plus a bar with snacks and drinks for you to enjoy. Visit us on Weds and experience all of SoCal’s favorite fighting games under one roof!

Jan 30: Thursday Night Casuals @ Barcode (9PM – 1AM)

After a long night of hardcore tournaments from Weds Night Fights, some of us just want to unwind and play some casuals at the next spot. For a few years now, our friends at Barcode have been supporting the FGC by having some classic to modern fighters available to play throughout their bar. Barcode is a great destination for any gamer who enjoys classic arcade games, pop culture, nostalgic action movies, rare collectibles, and more. They also have a full bar with craft cocktails, tapas style dishes, and awesome staff to serve you. If you want to meet the community on a personal level and just hang out casually, we highly recommend you visit us for Thursday Night Casuals @ Barcode. They will have SNK titles ready for everyone to enjoy during Hyper Drive week!

Jan 31: Chapter One Hyper Drive Pre-Party Gaming (9PM – 12AM)

The Hyper Drive Pre-Party will take place at Chapter One in downtown Santa Ana. If you’re just arriving from out of town or finally have a weekend off, get some last minute practice with us before the main event. We will have casual set ups featuring some of Hyper Drive’s titles and you can also enjoy food and drinks from Chapter One which is a popular gastropub in Santa Ana. Hope to see you at our pre-party event!

Feb 1: The Copper Door Nightlife (10PM – 2AM)

Join us at The Copper Door which is one of Santa Ana’s most popular nightlife lounges and walking distance from Esports Arena. We are planning a special night which celebrates Level Up’s 10th Year Anniversary with the community. There is no cover before 10:30PM and dress code is very casual. We will announce final details very soon!

Feb 2: Hyper Drive Afterparty @ Barcode (10PM – 1AM)

We are having our official Hyper Drive Afterparty at Barcode which will be an extension of casual games from the event. We know it’s hard to put the games down so we are giving the community one more night of good games before we wrap up. If you didn’t get a chance to visit Barcode for Thursday Night Casuals, then this is a perfect opportunity for you to see how SoCal comes together for a great evening of gaming with friends.
