Level | Up, in partnership with Midwest Championships (MWC), is pleased to announce that we will be providing the stream for the entirety of the event. AJ "PotatoHead" Papa, producer of the Wednesday Night Fight streams, and Frank "Shingin" Reyes, producer of The Specialists streams, will both be traveling to Chicago this May 8-9 to produce the stream. With their proven track record of providing and producing high quality streams, it is their intention to combine their experience to provide the best viewing experience of MWC from home.
Keits, MWC tournament director, made the official announcement on Wake Up SRK, Shoryuken.com's Official Podcast, while saying "They're just the best in the business right now. Their stream production is just on another level." Level | Up certainly doesn't plan to disappoint Keits and our friends in the Midwest.
You can catch the stream on our Ustream.tv channel www.ustream.tv/channel/leveluplive this coming May 8-9. |

It’s that time for SoCal’s elites to gather up for some Street Fighter 4 training. With the success of Specialists 2 regional team format, SoCal can level up as a whole rather than being overwhelmed by a hand-picked super team. To make things more interesting, we’ve invited NorCal and Arizona to the mix. Will LA West defend their title as the Specialists champions? Or will a new team take reign as the best Street Fighter region? Watch it live on our ustream.tv debut!

New players and long time rivalries clashed at SoCal’s Level | Up tournament on February 27, 2010. With a packed house of over 180 in attendance and 128 of them participants, the showroom entertained guests of many regions with great food and drinks while watching high quality competition.
The event featured two 64-man tournaments of today’s most popular fighting games, Street Fighter 4 and Tekken 6, with over $3,000 worth of cash and prizes. Some lucky participants also won prizes in various audience participation events throughout the tournament provided by Madcatz, Hori, Young & Reckless, and many more. Level |Up’s very own Alex Valle was also featured in Galaxy 4 Gamer’s “Beat The Pro” side event displaying a new way to challenge the pro for a chance to win cash and bragging rights.
